2 Months

My Little man turned 2 yesterday! We had his 2 month shots on Monday and I have to say I didn't even cry! GO Me! Little Man did cry a little bit but was such a champ! I was a little worried that he would have had a fever or fussy but NO he's perfect these last few days!

Shorty had a co-worker have a little baby girl and asked what we had for a gift for them. Well living an hour away from a Target it's not like I can just run down and get something so I had to whip up a quilt real quick. One of my favorite baby quilt pattern I got from Oh Fransson. What a beautiful day here on 4th Ave. My little family went out to Madora for the weekend. If you have never heard of Madora it is a beautiful place to see. Normally we would have gone on trail rides but with a little 2 month old I didn't feel quilt right putting him on a horse yet. The musical that they hold every night was amazing and the special entertainment was Skater Nation. Awesome! Best way to explain them would be break dancing on rollerskates!

Little man did amazing for his first time in a camper, although Shorty had him so bundled up when I got up to feed him he was sweating. Better to warm then to cold though!

We've got a big day here tomorrow with Little Mans 2 month shots. I can't believe that he's already that old! I believed people when they said that time would go by fast but I didn't think it would go by this fast! I'm a little worried about him getting sick after. Does anyone have any suggestions for what to do if he gets fussy after the shots?

Thad is 6 weeks old already! Here is him and I getting ready for our appointments. He does so well in the car. I have to wake him up for him to eat! When you live an hour away from a Walmart or Target it's nice to know that your little guy will behave long enough for you to get a days worth of shopping in! 

Here is what I'm working on now. There's 9 jeans there but I had to add another one for a total of 10.

It will soon be a Quilt, but not just a run of the mill denim square quilt, a Lattice quilt. 

I've made my share of denim square quilts and there is nothing wrong with them, but after a while you just get a little board with them. I like to make fun designs out of them and when people look at them they are shocked that it's all out of old jeans. Nothing bought by the yard here (at least not in denim)

Here are a couple that I've done in the past that are all denim, yes even the white!

One Month

Thad was one month old last weekend. He has grown SO much since he first arrived at our home.

One thing we have learned is that you can go with less sleep then one think! 

I have been in the craft room for a while. I have been working on a quilt that I have had for a while and started a new denim one. I'm excited for the denim one to come together. Pictures will start soon!

Thaddeus (Thad) Clarence

We are so happy to be home with our little guy. He is 2 weeks old already and I didn't know you could fall in love with someone so fast! 

Thad was born April 19th and weighed 7lbs 4oz and 21 inches long. I can't complain one bit about him. He lets me sleep for 5 hour stretches at night and just loves to be cuddled! I'm doing great, wish I had the time to be working on the projects but I never want to put him down long enough to do anything besides the dishes.

Still Waiting ...

Well it's it's the 18th and still no baby Voth on the way yet. All of our friends have guessed what we are having and when the baby will get here and they are changing their minds. They all now say that we will be having a little baby girl because she is "Fashionably Late" but she or he will get here soon. I'm off to make a tutu and a tie for pictures. One for either boy or girl :)

Waiting

Well Shorty and I are just waiting for this little one to arrive. The Due date is set for the 16th but any day now would be alright with me. I have made a bunch of little items for this little guy or gal coming into the world. I can tell you one thing, it will not be shy on blankets!
