One Month

Thad was one month old last weekend. He has grown SO much since he first arrived at our home.

One thing we have learned is that you can go with less sleep then one think! 

I have been in the craft room for a while. I have been working on a quilt that I have had for a while and started a new denim one. I'm excited for the denim one to come together. Pictures will start soon!

Thaddeus (Thad) Clarence

We are so happy to be home with our little guy. He is 2 weeks old already and I didn't know you could fall in love with someone so fast! 

Thad was born April 19th and weighed 7lbs 4oz and 21 inches long. I can't complain one bit about him. He lets me sleep for 5 hour stretches at night and just loves to be cuddled! I'm doing great, wish I had the time to be working on the projects but I never want to put him down long enough to do anything besides the dishes.

Still Waiting ...

Well it's it's the 18th and still no baby Voth on the way yet. All of our friends have guessed what we are having and when the baby will get here and they are changing their minds. They all now say that we will be having a little baby girl because she is "Fashionably Late" but she or he will get here soon. I'm off to make a tutu and a tie for pictures. One for either boy or girl :)

Waiting

Well Shorty and I are just waiting for this little one to arrive. The Due date is set for the 16th but any day now would be alright with me. I have made a bunch of little items for this little guy or gal coming into the world. I can tell you one thing, it will not be shy on blankets!

New Computer

I am SO excited, I just got myself a new computer. I decided to go with a desk top this time since I also have an iPad to play with around the house. I got a 27 inch mac and LOVE IT! With this computer I plan to use it for blogging, movies, pictures.

Good evening, hope all is well in blog land. Today I was sadly home sick. I did get a little sewing done in-between sleeping. I made myself get up at 6 so I am hoping that I will be able sleep tonight! I have been painting for a couple while they were gone. They have vaulted ceilings and I just can't seem to get to the top... That is all I have left and they get home on Friday ... I hope I can get it done tomorrow after work!

I hope if you find this blog you will stay tuned. I want this to be a little something of our life here on 4th ave. Sorry I can't really do pictures at the moment, my computer is out for the count and I'm writing this on my iPad. So be ready for picures of quilts, scrapbooking, painting and how tos on all of it!
